This place has quickly established itself as one of the top brunch spots in the city. Spectacular service!!
My expectations are always high when it comes to Caribbean food and this just didn't do it for me. My home state of Florida has some of the best Jamaican food I've ever tasted without actually being on the island. The oxtail was decent, the rice and beans had barely any flavor and the greens were plain. We were disappointed considering we drove from out to town to try some good food. I'm down for the chill and laid back atmosphere, but I don't like that I'm literally sweating while trying to eat my food. Not a good look. Better luck at another place.
They serve amazing authentic patties and jerk chicken but also curry. The price is a little high but decent overall. There is always Jamaican dancehall and reggaeton music playing to listen to while you're waiting. Also, there is a few seats where you can eat you meal.
The food here is amazing! Ahhhhh from the jerk or the curry omg it’s beyond delicious and the rice is full of flavor! Highly recommend this location and reasonable price for their great food portions!
At the moment you enter that restaurant the waiters give you an excellent feeling. Very comfortable hosts, it is a happy place to hang out with friends and colleagues or with your date. very good cuisine, talented chef de cuisine, comfortable price and professional service. Highly recommended.
The food is amazing!!! Best Caribbean food that I have tasted since I left New York, many years ago. I highly recommend this place, also good entertainment from the band.
Service was pleasant but food was disappointing....I got the brown stew chicken, tasted it and decided maybe adding oxtail gravy would make it better.... the cashier then took the plate that I had already ate from and gave it to the kitchen to add the gravy instead of giving or to me in a container! It didn't make it any better! First and last time! 😒
I went because I was craving some oxtails and everyone online was raving about them and because it's hometown food. HIGHLY disappointed dropped $20 cause I believed the reviews. First of all I made oxtails once from and online recipe and mine were 100 times better, no cap. And the rice and peas are like little rice grains it's not at all the same rice I'm used to and they aren't good, the rice and peas. Got a jerk pattie too and it was gummy and undercooked. Let's just say I'll never be back. Try if you like but you've been warned by someone who enjoys great food, mediocrity is not an option when I'm spending my $.
