I went to see Dr. Zashin with no hope of ever feeling better. 6 doctors had failed to diagnose me and 1 even suggested that I see a psychiatrist because he couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, so I must be crazy.From the first time I met Dr. Zashin, he LISTENED. He diagnosed my ankylosing spondolytis almost immediately and got my on treatment that dramatically improved my quality of life within 2 weeks. Now, I'm almost symptom-free and I have no limits on what I can do.

Dr Zashin is one of the best Rheumatologists in the area. He is very knowledgeable, and his bedside manners are impeccable. He listens to everything you have to say and is never pushy towards a treatment if you're not comfortable with it. He's also implementing new types of treatments! All lab work and x-rays are done in office, which is great! Dr Zashin doesn't take any insurance, but gives you all can the paperwork for filling to insurance by yourself as an out of network provider. I am very pleased with him and all his staff.

Anyone with rheumatoid arthritis, including myself, will tell you the best rheumatologists are expert diagnosticians, great communicators, great listeners, knowledgeable about the latest treatments and other research findings, and someone they can rely on and trust -- especially when they are most vulnerable, feeling poorly, and need answers. Dr. Scott Zashin is all of those things. Truly, he is a compassionate doctor, devoted to his patients and his specialty. But, he is not my personal rheumatologist -- for one reason only -- I don't live in Dallas, TX. I encountered Dr. Zashin in a professional capacity as I have been a writer for a health website (one or another) for over 20 years and we paired up to write two books about arthritis, too. He is a brilliant resource. Looking for a great rheumatologist? You just found him.

Dr. Zashin diagnosed my rare disease very quickly. I find him, and his medical team, to be extraordinarily skilled and empathetic. I’ll never forget when I was so devastated by my condition that I began to cry. Dr. Zashin knew exactly what to say to calm my fears and give me hope. Hope for a normal life. How does one put a price on hope?! Today, I am well and almost in remission thanks to his care and that of his exceptional team.

Wanted to put me in biologic when I didn't need it! Saw him at Arthritis event at Humira booth!! 13 year later and a wonder Dr. I still have never taken a biologic!! Run races, lift weights and work out!!
