I attended a weaving course earlier this year with Lily as the instructor. It was an awesome experience. Lily patiently led us from the absolute basics all the way through to a really cool finished project. Highly recommended as a way to dip your toe in to a fun new craft!

Learning to sew has always been a dream of mine. I was finally able to work towards that dream with the Beginner 101 class. I truly enjoyed going to class every week. Diana was a great instructor and very patient. I definitely will be taking more classes here.

I love taking classes here. Diana is very patient and great at explaining (and repeating!) things without getting frustrated. I am learning a lot and have enjoyed all of the projects!

I took the beginner sewing course 101 with Diana! It is an amazing start for beginners. Diana is a great instructor. Even if you don't know anything about sewing, you will learn quite a bit from these projects. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Excellent instructor. We really dove right in and did it all, even zippers. I no longer feel intimidated by my machine. I highly recommend this sewing instruction studio. They have flexible hours and weekends. They even have a kids program for Halloween costumes! A great place to learn a new skill and make new friends.

I have taken 2 classes, crochet and sewing both 101, and can’t wait to take another. The small size class, patient instruction and easy to complete projects taught me techniques I had wanted to learn. The quality of teaching was excellent, personalized and very friendly and supportive. I take a lot of classes and cannot speak highly enough of Fabricate. It’s a pleasure to write a recommendation.

I really enjoyed the Sewing 101 class. Diana was really good at explaining things, encouraging good habits, and being really patient as I needed an extra explanation. And I am amazed how much progress I made in 4 short weeks! And a great facility. Well worth it and I'll be back for more!

The leather tote class was wonderful new sewing experience. My sewing interest has shifted from apparel to bags and totes with a particular interest in leather. With no experience working with leather, I began searching the internet for a class. I was thrilled to find the class at Fabricate Studios because there was nothing available in my area. I live approximately 200 miles south of Atlanta, but the drive was never an issue. After reading more about Fabricate Studios, I knew the weekend class was exactly what I was looking for. The small class size was perfect for learning a new skill. My instructor, Penninah, was very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. She brought numerous examples of her work and openly shared her successful and not-so-successful pieces. The class was well organized, and I was able to work at my own pace and receive assistance from my instructor as needed. I’m not yet ready to sew leather on my own as I have much more to learn, but I would love to take this class again to further explore sewing leather. Thank you for an awesome class!

I took the Sewing 101 taught by Diana and I just loved it. She is a wonderful instructor and was able to give personalized assistance. Everything I made in the class I loved and I have been able to recreate on my own multiple times. I am now so much more comfortable with my sewing machine and it’s capabilities. I look forward to my next class.
