Company Description

Fadó (pronounced doe) is Gaelic for “long ago” and is commonly used to start a story, similar to “once upon a time.” We chose it because we’re telling the story of Ireland’s rich and ever-evolving pub culture. In 1996, a small group of Irish entrepreneurs came to the U.S. and started Fadó with the goal of bringing the best of Dublin pubs to the U.S. That goal stands firm today as we passionately bring Irish Pubs into the 21st Century.

We went twice -- for dinner before a concert and for dessert after. The dinner was good -- the veggie burger was a pleasant surprise and the fish and chips serving was substantial. But we got there a half-step after the kitchen closed, so then it was just crowded and not our scene.

Usually I'm not a fan of Irish bars when I'm abroad (I'm irish) but Fado is perfect. Good food and drink served by friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more. Wings are gorgeous and good local beer on tap, as well as the obligatory Guinness..... 😊

A good spot for drinks and up-graded pub fare. The downstairs can get crowded and obnoxious but the upstairs bar is generally more enjoyable. Also a great place to catch a soccer game. They will usually open early to show the EPL games on the weekends.

Always a great place for some good food and a drink. We went to the one in D.C. previously and decided to check this one out as well. Same result, great place no matter the city!

I really love coming here with my mom. We are both Irish and enjoy this neighborhood and this little place right here reminds my mom of her old neighborhood in San fransico. This place is very clean . The food is fantastic I get a new drink every time I come here and the service is excellent. My mom of course mentioned it was her birthday the employees Immediately rounded up to sing for her such sweet people . They do you really feel like their your family when you’re walking in ,thank you Fado Irish pub for such sweet hospitality.

We had some wonderful drinks. My favorite was the Tully Cay! So good we had to come back for another before flying home. Lamb sandwich dip was really good. Atmosphere and service were great.
