I'd have to say this is my favorite restaurant. The food is amazing and the entertainment by the owner on Fridays is always a good time. They have an amazing liquor selection. Service from the staff, particularly in the bar upstairs, is hit or miss, but worth the bother for the atmosphere and food. I highly recommend this establishment.

The reviews are on point with this place. We stopped in for lunch one day while passing through. The appetizer of the potato cakes with spinach was AMAZING! Dont pass it up! My husband was quite please with the lamb and the shepherds pie was pretty decent. Was a very charming place with friendly staff.

This place is fantastic. Evidently they won best Irish pub in the world at one point! The good and service both 100% live up to the hype too!! Strong recommendation to anyone visiting Nashville, and locals that haven't been are totally punishing themselves by not checking it out asap

This is the place to go for amazing live music! The owner and the other musicians were extremely talented, entertaining, and had a variety of genres in their song lineup- including, but definitely not limited to, great Irish music. Our group of 6 had so much fun! And the owner has an incredible voice! We really liked his ending words at 11pm about how “pub” stands for public place, and they try to have that good, uplifting family-type atmosphere there. The food was good and our overall experience was absolutely fantastic. We all agree McNamara’s was the highlight of our Nashville experience.

I had guests visiting and did not know where to take them out for dinner. I originally did not want to come to this restaurant because I am not fond of pubs or bars, but I am so glad I gave it a chance. This was a very family friendly atmosphere complete with live music in the evening and the most attentive and friendly staff I have ever seen! The food was amazing and my guests and I had a blast. Thank you so much for the experience and I will definitely be back to enjoy some more food and live music!

The best corned beef you have ever tasted. Great atmosphere and real Irish pub food. The only problem is whether to have fish and chips or the beef... you can't go wrong with either.

I love the fish and chips. The bartenders are super nice! Irish nachos are a ton of food and the Scotch eggs are wonderful. The live music is always really good. I never have a bad time here, even on St. Patrick's day when the place is INSANE!

Awesome experience. Excellent value priced meals. Fantastic musicians playing more than Irish music. Audience participation only enhances the environment. Of course the wait staff was superb.

Found this place after searching for a down to earth place to eat in Nashville. Most places are upscale, pricey and not Family/kid friendly, unless you want to eat at a chain. This place is AMAZING! great food, great drinks! I suggest the Scotch eggs and the Dublin mule! The service was beyond expectations considering how busy it was (we had a 45 minute wait to be seated) our waitress was so sweet, I would definitely go out of my way to eat here again!

Delighted to have found this place. The food is great, the staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant. The music was very good. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners Sean and Paula while there and they were so welcoming. I highly recommend this place. It is not far from the airport and it you like tea you will get a great pot of tea there.
