Family First Credit Union is the eleventh oldest credit union in the state of Georgia. It was chartered in 1930 to serve employees of the Fulton County School System and their families. The Credit Union was formed by the superintendent and a small group of leaders in the Fulton County School System in response to the stock market crash of 1929 and the Great Depression that followed.

I joined Family First Credit Union a year ago as a Fulton County School teacher, but I hadn't yet taken advantage of all it has to offer. In need of a swap and drop on a car loan through another credit union, I contacted FFCU and was placed in touch with Loan Officer Colleen Fowler. I've never had a more positive experience than what I had yesterday. Colleen was warm, welcoming, and she was quite helpful as she was able to meet my needs in approximately 20-25 minutes. As a parent of small children, you can imagine the horror that went through my mind when I thought the ordeal would last forever! Colleen was kind enough to entertain my children and all their questions! This truly was a positive experience, and I am so grateful that Colleen and the FFCU family were able to assist my needs. Please consider if you are a resident of Fulton County; you won't be disappointed!

I've been a member of Family First credit union for years. Trust me when I tell you they go above and beyond to look out for your best interest. Banks don't come close to this level of customer service.

Family First Credit Union has been a wonderful experience for my family. I was a member at another teachers' credit union for years and never got the support that I had always heard credit unions could provide. OMG, who would have thought I would meet an actual Angel from heaven here on earth? When I tell you Mrs. Colleen Fowler is a God sent woman, I mean every word. She took care of me and my urgent situation and I cannot thank her enough for that. Just her presence alone spoke volumes about her character- who she is as a person. May God continue to bless you!

Family First has been a great place of business. They have offered the best and most competitive interest rates for loans. The loan manager, Mrs. Fowler, is always professional and takes the time to explain everything that FFCU has to offer when you are getting a loan. If you are a member or if you are thinking about joining, definitely check out their loan department and what they have to offer.
