If you like steak subs n pastrami. This is the place to come n try. Also their pizza is amazing!😋 May I add all their food is amazing!😋 you have to try!!
No other words than the BEST, FRESH and HUGE sandwich EVER! This has been my experience consistently! My only complaints are the long lines and the fact that they close early, when they run out of bread.
I've been coming here for more than twenty years! I can't believe that for the longest time, they did not take credit card...really! That drove me nuts! But, at least for the last 10 years, they've been taking card, making it much easier to order from them. I always the pastrami on a soft hoagie with mustard, onions and pickles. I love how they cut dice the pickles and onions. I always dig how they add carrots to the side. The pizza is really good too. I really like the 50's feel and look to it too.

Being a longtime Los Feliz resident I can’t count the number of times I have driven by Giamela’s and thinking I should try it. I finally did and I must say I will definitely be going back. Their Pepper Steak Pizza is one of the best pies I have ever had. Piled high with generous portions of meat on each slice, the large size easily satisfied three of us. Very fair price too. A quick glance at the menu board with a variety of hot and cold sandwiches also gives me the reason to go back. So glad I finally gave Giamela’s a try—I will definitely be back.
If you want a real sub, any kind, a great value for the price, a full footlong sandwich. Also great pizza and spaghetti dishes.. I highly recommend.
