Just love the this place 😍😍😍One of the best sandwich place you will find in SF. Always delicious and consistent with great service and great food.
I have been going to this place since I was 13. I used to drive 30 miles every day after school just to get these delicious sandwiches. I swear the food here is addictive. The bread they use is perfectly toasted and the ingredients are always fresh. Hands down the best sandwich spot in San Francisco, maybe the best in California. I have never had a bad meal here, anyone who doesn’t like this food has something seriously wrong with their tastebuds or is just a complete moron. This place is a gem. It should be a landmark. Warning: no other sandwich will ever taste as good once you taste Submarine Center. I am addicted to this food!

Try the pastrami it's so good the bread is really crunchy and the secret Italian dressing they put on it is straight up fire! Best with sour creme and onion chips and an orange soda!!!
If you haven't been...you need to go. Small but loaded with character. It's deep SF roots are apparent right when you walk in. Everything a toasted sandwich should be and more. My recommendation is th Atomic...you won't be sorry. This place is a true gem of West portal.
The sandwiches are so great I gave it 5 stars even though they often get the order wrong. We ordered 4 sandwiches on the phone and only 1 came as ordered. The bread is so good and really makes the sandwichsandwich. Avocado, Ham and Swiss, no mustard, center sized.
A legitimately great, local sandwich shop. I enjoy the Atomic sub as much as anything from Deli Board, but at a much more reasonable price. Lines can get long at peak times, so calling in your order for pickup is recommended. The bread they use and the way they toast sandwiches gives them a crunch that reminds me of poboys in New Orleans. In fact, this may be the closest substitute to jumping on a plane to the Big Easy. This is a West Portal institution and anchors the lunchtime eating options in the area. Go!
