Finding gourmet Sri Lankan food in LA isn't easy due to its selectivity, but I sure have found it! The restaurant is small, but clean and sanitary. The food is impeccable. I highly recommend trying their "Kottu Rotti" with chicken and egg, as well as their "cutlets". Both really good menu options! It's probably safe to say, order ahead of time because it will take 15+ minutes for the food to be ready, and in this case that's a good thing, for that means everything is FRESH. I had placed this order for a company luncheon, and everyone loved it! Not to mention, their food is very affordable. In regards to parking, there is street parking available in front of the restaurant pretty much at all times.

This place has it all. It’s one of those little spots that you might miss, which is really a shame because everything on their menu is delicious. I had the opportunity to sample this fine chef’s work and let me tell you something: my taste buds experienced a baptism in genuine authentic Sri Lankan food!! Every single morsel of food was satisfying!! Try the chicken curry and rice or the beef curry! While you’re at it order the fried chicken, which is boneless, cooked to perfection and crispy with an amazing seasoning of delicious herbs and spices. It’s golden brown and falls apart in your mouth but it keeps that crunch you expect. The interior is quaint but look closer and see the handmade plaster edifice. This is artisan style Sumerian art on these walls!! Whether you’re dining in, stopping by to get something to go, or deciding on who should cater your next big event, give Kurrypinch a call! You’ll be happy you did!! PS they serve these fried potato strands with cashews and I could eat them by the pound.
