What a find, a hole in the wall authentic SriLankan place. Be a darling and take the least spicy option. Even for someone who eats a lot of spicy food, that was too much to handle 😁
The curry crab here was delicious. Definitely going back try their curry fish.

Tantalizing assortment of unique flavors with that just-right amount of spice. This place is an understated gem. The portions were more than enough to leave us feeling full with plenty of leftovers too!
This hole in the wall restaurant is by far my most favorite restaurant in NYC. Its tiny, cramped, cash only and the service is a bit slow. However they more than make it up with some of the most delicious food I have ever had. The Kothu Roti and the Lamprais (?) are a must have.
They make very good crab curry. Could be spicy for many but very tasty food
I love this place. The only spot I HAVE to eat at when I visit NY. Chicken Kotthu and Daal Curry all the way.

We visited the place at 8pm on a Monday night, and we waited for almost an hour for food and it didn't come. We asked the server, and the server just replied with "if you want to leave, no one's stopping you". We left afterwards. What a bad attitude. I definitely won't come again.
Great food. Great service. First time I was experiencing this cuisine. The waiter helped to explain things and made solid suggestions. Note this place is cash only. And if requesting spicy they know the meaning of that word. The decor was nice too.
