New renovation of the building looks great and stuff is very helpful and kind.
My son and I both go there . Their very kind hearted who comes to the health center .
The workers are extremely immature and do not know how to conduct themselves in a professional level when it comes to the patients ( public service). I think the issue is hiring too many young people are not properly trained or held to a higher level no tolerance. The reason I say this is be a I have ran into Nurses and Secretaries who's behavior is disturbing and argumentative! This kind of service is unacceptable and needs to be fully looked into! I am in the process of switching my care and the children's care elsewhere.
It had been quite some time since I'd been to the dentist due to past unpleasant experiences at a dental school. Due to my financial woes I have been very limited with Dental options. My daughter has been a patient here for years and in thought I'd Guv then a try. I was pleasantly surprised by all the work I had done. I'd like to acknowledge everyone from the front desk to the x-rays performed by Sean, hygienist Milano and last but not least the very pleasnt and prifessuinal Dr. Kamil. Thank you for your care
Never answer their phones, unprofessional at times.
Some time ago I was new to the area made an appointment. So on day of appointment I went, had a few words with staff at the reception desk where I found staff to be rude and unprofessional and I never had my appointment, I turned around and walked out never to return.
This place the staff is very unprofessional .and the reception desk staff are very rude.while helping you they are speaking in there language while helping you.I find that very disrespectful.so I am changing to a place who put patient first
If you like waiting for hours on top of hours this is the place for you. I went there about a month ago to pick up paper work for a new job and I waited 2 hours just for someone to print them out for me. I went to the desk on multiple occasion to ask what was taking them so long. Never really got an answer beside the sweet older lady at the desk calling the nurse desk to tell them how long I've been waiting for. I couldn't leave due to needing the paper work badly. Finally she let me in the back to the nurse station where I was really mad and told them I've been waiting and they just sat back there with my order in the basket. I was over it at that point and wanted my paper work to go. One lady apologized. I told her its okay. I just would like to go. Another occasion was I met with a worker on some medication and gave two of the workers my pharmacy to send my medication to. I went to the pharmacy when I got a call to pick up my medication from the health center. When I arrive to the pharmacy they didn't have anything for me. I called Mattapan health center and the girl at the desk Rachel told me I needed to speak to a nurse on where to send the medication to. Reminder I told two other workers on different occasion before on where to send it to and they both wrote it down in front of me. From that day forward I called daily for almost a week to speak to the nurse to have my medication be sent over to the pharmacy. Every time I would call, Rachel would tell me that the nurse will be with me in one moment. All the times I waited on the phone for about 15minutes then someone would come back and tell me the nurse was business and I would have to call back again. That went on for three days when I finally called to say how annoyed I was in the nicest way. I didn't yell or was rude. I said, hi Rachel this is Nicole and I am really annoyed that I have to call daily just for someone to get one thing right. She understood me and I finally just gave her the information. On July 2nd 2018 I went for a follow up appointment due to something being really wrong. I made this appointment back in June. I wanted it sooner, but couldn't get anything sooner. So, I waited my turn and I was looking forward to this appointment. I work from 10am-630pm. My appointment was at 7pm. I rushed over and got there 655pm. Right on time for my appointment. When I finally got called in for my appointment the nurse took my vitals. And I sat there and sat there it was 7:48pm and no doctor yet, I was upset I had to wait that long and never thought to go tell someone I wasn't seen yet. But I waited too long it was time for me to go. I complained to the sweet older lady at the desk where the elevators are. I didn't even meant to be upset to the point of tears. It was sad. Thank you to the sweet older lady at the desk for all your help. I no longer will be coming back. I've been going to Mattapan Health Center since I was 10years older I am not 24 and since most of the people knew who I was I stayed there. I was comfortable, but boy did y'all give me a wake up call to leave. There is a nurse I think she's a nurse. Short hair and tall. WOW can she roll her eyes like no other.
