Before the idea of a creamery, brothers Chris and Nick O’Sullivan opened their first concept in 1998 — Brothers BBQ. Serving some of Denver’s best BBQ, the brothers’ creativity would not stop there. While living in Denver’s Park Hill and Mayfair neighborhood for 14 years, Chris realized that there were no local ice cream shops. With this idea in mind and a severe hankering for some good ol’ fashioned, handmade cream, the brothers took an ice cream-making course in Florida and Nuggs was born in 2014!

Great service! Love the flavors and the scoops are huge! I love this ice cream shop and if your craving ice cream, go to this place since they have good prices to!
The ice cream is excellent, I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Love the large patio area to hang out and enjoy a nice day.
I can’t wait to come back to this place. The employees/owners are so sweet and have customer service down to a tee. I went here with my husband and two little sisters just over a month ago, and between the 4 of us we must have tried 20 different samples. Not at one point did any of them bat an eye, and after we all sat down to enjoy the ice cream (queen bee was my FAVE), one of the employees came up to our table and just put a malt in the middle of the table. He didn’t even say a word, just walked away all sly (; we dug in and it was delish!
A giant serving of delicious ice cream. They offer a great variety of well done classics and fun flavors. Both the toasted coconut and strawberry were chock full of the fruit and super filling. Will definitely be going back soon
I enjoy my treat! The staff and service was nice. My ice cream was delicious! I had the vegan cherry icecream and was full of flavor! I'd definitely be snacking here more often.

Excellent homemade ice cream. Great flavors especially double stuffed oreos but all are great.
Great local ice cream place. Took my kids and we all enjoyed the ice cream but it's pretty pricey... Worth it considering it's a local small business.
Super Yummy! Always buzzing with energy and laughter. Plenty of outdoor seating. Small shared parking lot with street parking off Colfax.
