I'm a math major and i love the staff and math department they were so welcoming to me and my eagerness to learn. The community is just so comforting and welcoming every aspect of the school as a whole.
A Great college in Austin.

Great views of the city from the soccer field.
Great student to faculty ratio. Nice school if you are looking for a private community with a high rated education program.
Arguable the best Uni ever! If you like culture, nature, and all round loving community. This is a place to visit and/or attend! The Austin and Texas history runs deep here, you should check it out.
Lewis-Chen Family Field is a great venue to watch a soccer match. I have come here to watch numerous St. Edward's University men's and women's matches, both of whom are perennially nationally ranked, and always make it to the NCAA Division II tournament. Tournament matches are hosted here every year. Whenever I come here to watch a soccer match, I also do my daily meditation pilgrimage either during halftime at Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto located right next to the soccer field, or beforehand at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel...
I went to school from 2013-2016 and received my Bs in Biology with a focus on the health professions. I loved my experience at St. Edward's and would recommend it to just about anyone. The pros are the teachers, the smaller class sizes (much like an ACC class) and the education quality you receive. Much like any university, you get out what you put in to it. I will say there are a few cons. The biggest downside is the cost of tuition. If you can get a transfer scholarship and a few other scholarships and grants, do it. Another downside I would say is that if you are a non-traditional student, it can be hard to always work things out with teachers. Working a 8-5 job I sometimes had to miss a class and some teachers were not as understanding as others. Overall though, I loved my experience at St. Ed's and if you are a science major the education can't be beat.
I got to work very closely with their facilities staff. They are extremely well run behind the scenes. Everybody is extremely friendly, which means everyone loves their jobs. The campus, while a bit small, is very beautiful.
A caring organization that truly wants to inspire their students. However, the staff has a tendency to cocoon just a bit. I enjoyed my classes, community service projects, and learning experiences but when I graduated, I felt very unprepared for the practical realities of the real world. Admittedly I am still kinda feeling lost after leaving my first profession and trying to decide on a second one. I wish I got a more realistic view of the world maybe starting my sophomore year. Everything else about the school was great, they just need to improve real world preparation for graduates.
