We've been going here since I was a kid and it's a cool little hole in the wall. But the quality is an absolute hit or miss. Some days we go and it's amazing, fresh, hot, spice is good. Then some days the chicken is old and stringy and the spice is either non existent or way too much. If they could stay consistent with their meals, it's a great spot. Love their menu options and how they're vegetarian friendly.

This is my absolute favorite Chinese place. Every time I try a different spot, I'm comparing it to Szechuan Empire, and every time they come up short. Their vegetarian chicken is tender and has such genuine flavor it's worth the somewhat expensive price. I've had almost every dish on the vegetarian menu, both to go and in the actual restaurant, and they're always hot and delicious. If you want it spicy, I will say you have to be very clear that you mean spicy- I've asked for it "extra spicy" before and had it come out mildly spicy at best. The decor and ambience of the restaurant are dated, sure, but if that's what you're basing your decision on then you should probably think about why you're going out in the first place. This place's food is delicious, hands down.

One of the better asian food locations around the area. little hole in the wall which makes it even better. good amount of sauce with each serving as well the serving size are good. nice little feature its owned by chef tom "the samurai chef" who's been on cut throat kitchen and great food truck race. makes it more interesting.

First time ordering here. The building really looks like a whole in the wall but don't be fooled. I ordered the Beef with carrots, celery and szechuan sauce combo. The spring roll, fried rice and beef entree all were great. The hot and sour soup was decent. Not overly salty like most. My new favorite chinese spot in Livonia!

I've tried many entrees from the menu and all have been very good. The General Tso is the best I've had anywhere! The staff is always friendly. The portions are generous. What more could you ask for.
