The food was amazing! Good place to go if you like spicy Asian cuisine. There's no reservations and I only waited about 10 minutes to be seated because they give you the option to share a table if you don't mind sitting with strangers.

This place is a hidden treasure. Amazing food and service! Great selection of vegetarian dishes and will also change any menu item to vegetarian per you request. Large portions and great prices!

Crowded and busy. Usually 1-2 hour wait times. Can avoid massive waits with a reservation, bit can only make reservations for 4 or more people, and even then, expect to wait. Definitely try the chili fish and the frog legs. Fantastic food and speedy service.

Excellent scene for quality Chinese food. Food was so delicious. The service was very welcoming and observant. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Feels similar to a restaurant in San Francisco I loved.

Got take out. Portion was amusingly small. It looked quite big, but 90% of the dish was dried hot peppers no one would eat. For that price, they're almost mocking you by giving you 5 pieces of chicken. Never seen such a small portion for such a high price in a Chinatown in my life.

Food was amazing, the service was quick. We got there 15 min after they opened, and before we were done eating there was a line down the street. Definitely worth the visit!

Found out about this place on Reddit. Wanted to take my family to the best Chinese restaurant we could find in San Francisco's China Town. Hard to say if it was the best, since we went here twice, but it did not disappoint. Thursday night we had to wait about 30 minutes, but on Friday late afternoon, we waited no more than ten minutes. Excellent good yet again.

Excellent flavors. String beans and mapo tofu were superb. Beware, the broth, there’s a reason they give you a slotted spoon for some soup. Flaming fish soup lived up to its name w one of the diners jettisoning a fish chunk across the table, flames 🔥 😝purging from the throat 😂. The soup broth for that dish is truly for the “educated” palate. Looking forward to more dining adventures here in the near future. Go early, no waiting. A huge line formed within an hour of opening. However, dress warmly in the winter if coming early as the proprietor expects to use the “warmth” created from their food being consumed to heat their space > >
