Welcome to Alioto’s Restaurant, a San Francisco landmark on Fisherman’s Wharf, serving famous fresh seafood and Sicilian family recipes for over 90 years. Now run by the fourth generation of the Alioto family, Alioto’s is San Francisco’s oldest family owned and run restaurant.

Good food and great environment. Staff are always friendly here. Although many tourists abound, it's a great place to come visit every now and then.
Super friendly staff, very tasty clam chowder. We ordered the bread bowl and added crab meat. Kept us warm for a few hours! Very delicious.
Today we had an excellent lunch at Alioto’s, they’re a great family friendly restaurant. The service was great and the food faultless, I definitely recommend the truffle fries too, so good they’re off the scale! If you’re ever in the area you’ll do well to find a better all round experience!
We came for dinner and watched the beautiful sunset with the Golden Gate Bridge in the far distance. Service was really good and the place was not crowded when we went on a Thursday evening. They have different menus for both sitting outside and upstairs. We went upstairs for this and it was a slightly more expensive menu but the attentive service more than made up for it. The table beside us were tourists who just ordered a coffee to share at dinner time and the service for them was equally as good as for us and that’s really good.
A little pricey, but worth it. Upper level has good harbor view. Fish and chips were good, kids loved the chowder in the bread bowls. Service was excellent. Thanks.
We love this place! We went there for my boyfriend's birthday and had a great time. We went for the crab and the lobster and were definitely not disappointed. The service was outstanding and very caring. The view over the bay was great. We will come back!
Beautiful restaurant with views of the golden gate bridge. The waiter was amazing and helped me decide the perfect things to order and walked me through the crab eating process. Definitely worth every penny. Slightly fancy but still comfortable
The food and ambiance was amazing. Fresh food with delicious flavors. The service was not good considering the high cost. The table was not prepared for 4 only for 2. They were not willing to split the check and not super attentive. The food was delicious.
Ordered the steward seafood pot (I don’t remember the exact dish name) with a friend. I’d say that I expected something better. It’s not that it’s bad or what, it’s just not impressive (considering its price). And the service, when we arrived, we were lead to a table which should have been well sat up but was then got messed up by a random kid or else. The waiter just brought us there and we had to reorganize it by ourselves. But for else, the service is fine.
Great place by the sea to dine. Good food of seafood selection. Ambiance is good. Servers are very polite. You'll enjoy. We had clams, halibut fish garlic noodle.
