La Sicilia Italian Bakery & Cafe opened in March 2018 and is located in the heart of Montrose, Chef Chiarello has been serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and daring new ventures into the uncharted territories of food and baked goods.

Nice place. I’m picky when it comes to pastries but this place is very good. Nice selection, not too overwhelming, stuff knows what’s inside every single pastry and gives you good recommendations. Will be back!
My husband, 3year old, my baby, and I went on a nice Sunday morning, around 930am. It wasn't very busy. We got the blueberry lemon loaf, which we all enjoyed. We ordered the tiramisu french toast and the lemon ricotta pancakes. Very large portions, and everything was absolutely delicious. My husband is typically afraid to try new things, but he ate almost all of the lemon ricotta pancakes. Tiramisu is my absolute favorite, and the french toast did not disappoint! Everything was made fresh so it took a bit longer to come out, and our baby was getting fussy so we weren't able to stay as long as we wanted. I'm not sure if they had high chairs, I didn't ask, but that would have helped maybe stay a bit longer because my husband and I took turns holding the baby. This place is super clean, and every member of the staff is warm and welcoming! Definitely a place where I'll be back in the future. Probably without children so I can sit a while and enjoy the atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast! ❤
The food was delicious and portions were humongous. I recommend trying both sweet and savory dishes. Plus, best lattes I've tried in town! I wish service would have been faster, though.
Stopped by on a early quiet Sunday. Coffee was great. Lots of selection in baked goods. This is the only place in Houston that I found, that has a decent sfogliatelle. Will be back for more!
this place is very comfortable, atmosphere is homie, the desserts smell, look and taste sinfully deliciously good. try the cookies but don't over indulge 😊 the customer service was awesome and the and the food smells so good. Great place to take a Date
Amazing place for a coffee and dessert. Best Amaretto cookies ever. Plenty of parking outside. If you have a sweet tooth and like good coffee then this spot is a must try.
This place feels like home away from home. The owners are so pleasant and really passionate about what they do. The avocado toast is TO DIE FOR! everything is so so so good - i have never left without cleaning all of our plates :)
Being a sicilian myself or at least a good portion they have a lot of stuff that I've seen from Sicily. I highly recommend ordering their Peach pie without the Almond crust. They serve good coffee and they make custom treats every day so the one thing you see behind the counter is most likely not going to be there tomorrow
It was a wonderful experience the staff was amazing very helpful friendly and extremely kind!!! The food was out of this world. We got to sit around the table at home and enjoy it as a family bringing up great old memories!! We absolutely recommend this yummy cafe to everyone!! Every bite is a delicious taste of Italian flavor!!! Thank you💕
Super friendly. Everything is fresh baked daily. Prices a bit high, but quality is top shelf. Best traditional canoli I have ever had. Background music was nice, not too loud. Nice place to relax with a date.
