Went here to try a traditional Sicilian dish Pasta Con Sarde and was disappointed. Pasta had no flavor and sauce was loaded with bread crumbs which overwhelmed everything. Missing some of the standard ingredients. At 23 for the entre is was overpriced. This is more of a neighbourhood local pizza and pasta joint

This place has amazing food. I rate them 4 because our service took quite a while but overall the food was great and the drinks were nice. This is definitely a place you should come to on an empty stomach because everything is cheesy and heavy. The lemon cheesecake dessert is a must along with the calamari. It can get loud and seating is a little awawkward. It has an underground vibe with old chairs, benches and its dimly lit.

This is the best meal I’ve ever had in my entire life. Weeks later I am still thinking about it. The gnocchi and fried burrata were life changing. Do yourself a favor and go here NOW!! Service was also impeccable.

I can’t say enough good things about Bella Gioia and their young chef/owner. The food is always spectacular, the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in an underground wine cellar in Italy and the drinks are great too! I eat here every time I am in town!

Been dining here for 2 years. I have not had a bad meal, only better meals. Short ribs are my favorite and go to meal. The arancini and fried buratta and fried calamari set the perfect tone for the rest of your meal. The staff is professional and attentive without being overbearing.
