Not a great experience. Dr. Opperman was very rude and didn't seem to know what he was talking about. Him and his assistant were telling me different things and were not on the same page at all. The front desk worker was rude as well and didn't seem to care that I was waiting 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment. Would not recommend.

I have not had a positive experience with this office. I went to this office to remedy an ongoing throat issue. I had about 4 or more appointments within a 6 month window. After months of following the orders of Dr. Opperman and Buzz - which included medication - seeing other recommended specialists -and two rather pricey procedures - I felt practically zero throat relief -- My final straw was when Dr. Opperman, in confidence, wrote me an 8 week script for neck massages -- To me this was clearly an indication he was out of ideas - which is fine - I just wish he was up front about it rather than essentially kicking the can down the road... To note: I did go to a physical therapist for a neck massage and she was baffled by Dr. Opperman's recommendation.

Normal wait time which feels long always but you’re going to a doctors office, obviously there’s a wait. qSome of these reviews made me hesitant to go but I am glad I went. Doctor saw what is wrong with me, told me what I need to do and that’s that

Did not care about me as a person. Quite an ego.

Dr. Opperman is amazing! Before I found him I had lost my voice because of a growth in my throat. The first Doctor I had surgery with never fixed a thing and I was very scared that I would never get my voice back. I researched Dr. Opperman and I cant say enough good things, I healed fully and regained my voice!!! If you are worried about Doctors and dont know where to turn, go see Dr Opperman he will take care of you.

I have to give 3 starts, because doctor is great, he did a great job with wax removal from my ear, but I was shocked when I got the bill. His "contracted rate" with the insurance was $164. When I called office, billing department told me that if I came without the insurance, it would have been $250. Seems awfully high price to pay for ear wax removal. So I have to find someone else in the future☹️.

Doctor Opperman seems competent and is brusquely polite. However did NOT have positive experience on visit to this office for multiple reasons. Staff member at front desk very unpersonable and rude on phone only bare minimum customer service. This person went on and on about their payment policy being very important. Another staff person who worked there was walking around having conversation on cell phone that was quite offensive. It was unreal. No staff member was courteous or friendly during visit. Unprofessional and WEIRD sums up atmosphere of this practice. Wait was long and when doctor finally came out front the staff just occupied his time making small talk and more inappropriate conversation. Um hello? Patients sitting right here waiting and cringing from everything being said! Obviously patient experience is unimportant priority to this practice. Simple discretion with what is spoken aloud and a more professional staff to patient interaction would have significantly improved the experience here. Just cannot recommend.

My husband had sever aspirating for over two years. We had gone to NJH and they couldn't figure it out. We were referred to Dr. Opperman. He told us the first time we went in that he could fix him. And he did. My husband now has his life back. We never had to wait when we had an appointment. Whenever I called with a question, if Dr. Opperman was busy his assistant would call me back with the answer. His receptionist was always friendly and helpful. Can't say enough about the practice.
