My experience here was great. My ear was clogged with a giant piece of wax, which Dr Chu quickly and carefully removed. He was friendly and nice, and made me feel at home. Everything went smoothly, and I was in and out in less than an hour. I will certainly return for any other ENT needs i have in the future.

Dr. Chu is a great physician - he is polite and friendly, and he truly cares about his patients. He is very thorough in his exam, reviewing history and imaging in great detail, going beyond just the obvious areas of complaint. He is not looking just to fix the symptoms but tries to find the underlying cause as well, which regrettably is not something every doctor does. If needed, he will not hesitate to refer to a different specialist and even though his specialty is surgery, he is not quick to recommend it before non-invasive options are exhausted. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what is wrong, what can help, and what other options are available out there - in detail and in an understandable, non-rushed way. I couldn't ask for better care and feel lucky that I was referred to Dr. Chu because prior to him I saw several physicians for the same problem who just gave me bagfuls of meds "to try and fix it" without caring to find what "it" was that they were trying to fix, with the only result being side effects from the meds. Now I finally have hope of relief. Best E/N/T doc in Austin!

Dr.Chu is amazing !! He is a fantastic doctor I get the exact day I request when scheduling appointments he is super nice and polite and the staff is nice as well. The doctors office is clean very well kept .

Was assured on the phone the appointment would only take 30-45min because i had obligations afterwards and after 30 min of waiting past my appointment i just left. If someone makes an appointment at 11 it means 11 not 11:30. Very unprofessional.

My experience with Dr. Chu was excellent. He was funny, compassionate and most of all, smart. He took his time with me. He gave me what I needed to know to get healthy, and really knows his stuff! I would highly recommend him.

office staff is inexperienced and unorganized. currently going on a 40 min wait with a couple still ahead of me. rude and inconsiderate of my time.

I had my daughter's hearing tested here a little over a year ago, and Dr. Chu and his audiologist told me that my daughter passed her audiogram and that her hearing was good in both ears. I informed Dr. Chu that the hearing evaluation was because of my concerns with my daughter's speech delay, and based on his report we started speech therapy. We saw very little progress with my daughter's speech to the point where I had her enrolled in the early preschool program and had her speech sessions increased to 3X a week. With all of this intervention for over a year, I knew there had to be something else going on, so I took my daughter to another ENT specialist who diagnosed my daughter with severe hearing loss in both ears, which explains her speech delay and all of the concerns I've had. We have lost over a year of effective intervention based on Dr. Chu's initial report. My daughter is increasingly behind her peers academically and is still not conversational. I would not recommend this office, but I would recommend that every parent get multiple opinions.

Both my daughter and I have had great experiences with Dr. Chu. Not only did he take care of our immediate issues, he is great at explaining confusing events that occur in medicine and setting proper expectations for medical procedures.

Very unorganized, long wait. I really should read the previous reviewers very carefully. I had an appointment at 1:45 pm, I was there at 1:35 pm to fill some document ahead of time. In the same time there was another patient got in at the same time of my appointment and I waited till 2:27pm then I decided to leave because that’s silly.

He is an amazing doctor. I do not like seeing doctors, because I do feel comfortable around them but he made me feel very comfortable. I am glad he was able to help me with my awful ear pain. My appointment did not take long. It was fast and to the point. Thank you Dr. Chu for helping me feel better than before. His staff was very friendly as well. I definitely recommend him.
