Everyone at Dorchester Tire is professional and helpful; however, not having my brand of oil filter in stock does not allow for drop in oil change service. One has to either leave vehicle or make an appointment; both of which are not optimal

Got the tires on quickly and even took the time to move all the stuff in my trunk so they could put the donut away properly. The price was also resonable, looked online and found a few that were about $10-20 cheaper, but would have taken too long to order and have shipped. Staff was friendly.

I can see why my trusted mechanic (Southie Auto) recommends this place- they do business in a similar fashion- honestly and fairly. Not knowing much about tires, after I brought my car in to have a single front tire changed, I asked if the other front one should be changed too. I knew I was putting myself in a position to be taken advantage of, but I didn’t want to risk it if the tire did need to be changed. They could have easily said “you know what, yeah, let’s change that one out too” and gotten more money from me. Instead, they looked at it, told me it was in great shape, and that it didn’t need to be changed. That’s the kind of thing that makes me trust the work these guys are doing. Keep it up- you’re my first call if I’m having any tire issues!

JT was great.....he told me what he thought the issue might be; educated me surrounding the work they did and did it all when he said they would. Sounds basic but has not been my experience at other shops. He even got me a ride home because he wasn't sure how long I might have to wait. I love this place.

Dorchester Tire was courteous, quick and professional. I requested tires that they had in warehouse and they were able to have them ready by next morning. They took care of replacing 4 tires for me as well as an inspection and barely took more than an hour. Pricing was also fair.

The treat could be a bit more friendly. I felt like entering a fast food chain but for tires. I also felt the prices are not standard, they vary depending on how they feel your willingness to get the service during the call , but this is may not true, it just a feeling, even though I think it was a good price. I'm not an expert to evaluate the job so this may doesn't matter but the pressure of the new tire is higher than the rest, I guess they could leave all the same right pressure. After writing the review I got a call from them worried about my review and my perception about the service in order to improve.

The whole crew here is great. I've had some problems with mechanics in the past, but everyone here has been great. Fast, honest, thorough, and priced very fairly. When issues arise, this is my go-to, and if it's something they can't handle, they always point me in the right direction. I highly recommend them.

Honest, friendly people. They were quick to help and came out right to my car when I arrived to check on my rim after a blown out tire on the highway. They told me that we were next and welcomed us to some delicious coffee while we wait. I honestly thought I annoyed them after calling three times after I found out the night before that my car was vandalized, but they still treated me like a first-class client. Were honest enough to tell me I didn’t need a new rim and didn’t trick me into buying anything I didn’t need. During these past several months, I thought my other tires were also bad so I almost considered replacing all of them, but they were again honest enough to tell me I had “plenty of life on my tires”. They charged me a tremendous price (good!) for both the new tire and the labor included to not only install, but also to rebalance my wheel after my rim took a beating. Price of everything combined is cheaper than the cost of a new tire at most places! These are good, honest people with great customer service, and I’m glad Dorchester has high-quality, friendly, yet modestly priced businesses like these, as a fairly new resident of Dorchester. It can get busy on Saturdays because of their great reputation, but they work fast! Cheap, reasonable prices and they knew my budget. Gave me affordable solutions to my problems knowing my fresh-out-of-college budget. Really good people. Definitely coming again sometime!
