Your typical no-frills Indian buffet in US. I personally found that the food was too spicy to be able to enjoy it. No added items like dosas etc. which are generally available during weekend buffet menus. I guess we need to explore other options in the area as well.
Really nice restaurant with an extensive menu. All dishes I have tasted had excellent flavor. I tried their takeout option also couple of times. Every experience was good. Hope they will maintain the standard in future as well.
This is an awesome place to have delicious indian food. I have been there many times since the restaurant was opened and every time i was completely satisfied. More importantly food quality was consistently fresh and tasty. The seating ambience is fantastic as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant...
Been to Godavari in Malvern restaurant with family when I visited my cousin in PA and thoroughly enjoyed the food. They have got very interesting and unique menu, everything I tried has got the authentic taste. Definitely went above and beyond. I will come here again, and highly recommend.
During my stay in the USA, I was in search of a good restaurant which serves great quality food. I came across Godavari Malvern. After the first visit, I can assure you that you will not get such authentic South Indian cuisine in the USA. I lived the food. Since then, it is our most favorite dining spot.
Better to avoid this place. Not sure, who gave them the idea of making such an elaborate menu and adding things like Dry fruit pulav?Seriously they need to work a lot to get this right. No customer wants to see 10,000 items listed on the menu and get confused.
Restaurant staffers are hard working and professional. I love the food, so many appetizers. Food is spice and tasty definitely south indian food. Its a good place to go...
First time visit. Was looking for a quick take away, but saw they had a buffet, so I gave it a shot. Buffet was fresh and had plenty of vegetarian and meat options. I had a small sampling of everything and was not let down across the board! Raj was running the front like a pro and left me wanting for nothing. The dining hall was clean and everyone I encountered was super friendly. Will definitely be back!
Have been to enjoy the lunch buffet many times. Always fresh with many options to choose, including several vegetarian. Finally convinced my boss to try (he's not fond of Indian buffet, prefers only freshly prepared) ...he is now a Godavari regular.
Wow I was surprised to see different menus everyday. Normally every restaurant will have the same menu every time and weekends only there will be some new dishes. But here I saw different menu in the buffet every time I went. I really loved the menu they have. Taste is so yummy and quality too. They have a party hall too .To say in few words I would say YUMMY LIMITED VARIETY FOOD
I have been here a few times. For the lunch buffet, the mutton here is consistently inferior quality, rubbery in texture and with little meat in it. However the seafood options when available in the weekend is good. Vegetarian food is spicy and tasty as well for the buffet. Would upgrade to five star if Godavari upgrades the quality of the mutton. There is a lot of competition around Exton and Malvern area and unless the mutton gets better, I will look elsewhere.
