Great place for tea and snacks! I got a big pot of tea (around 8 serving of the cups pictured) which was a little too much for 2 people. It was great tea though, so no complaints. We shared the Irish Breakfast Tea with a blueberry scone and a slice of the Early Grey Bread. The staff were very polite, the decor is mostly kitchen/tea items that are available for purchase. They also have a variety of quiche, soups, and sandwiches.
This place is just so cute and lovely. The food and treats are delicious and the staff are very friendly, efficient, and attentive without being intrusive. My friends and I stayed and talked even after we paid the check and they didn't kick us out or anything. I have dairy allergies and they offer soy milk. Most places don't even consider those who can't consume milk and this beautiful places does! I'm going to come back here for sure!
Best tea in St Louis. Great atmosphere to enjoy a cup. Also a well stocked store for anything tea related you may desire.
I love the cozy atmosphere, the interesting (and delicious) food, and all the UK items for sale. Warning though: my husband was not thrilled. He found the food too expensive & the quiche serving too small. He was stunned by a $36 cup. So I will have to come back without him.
I’ve had high tea here several times. Everything is delicious. The finger sandwiches are excellent, the scones are heavenly, and the desserts are scrumptious. You also get a pot of tea of your choosing. My favorite tea is Parisian Breakfast, a black tea with vanilla and orange. It doesn’t sound that great but it really is. The cranberry orange scones with the Devonshire cream and strawberry jam are always excellent. You do have to make a reservation for the high tea but you can walk-in at any time for lunch. It’s worth finding a place to park on the one way streets.
Good ambiance, friendly service, and Good breakfast croissant but the tea time and temps are off. The first tea I chose was my fault... Should've smelled the leaves first. My second tea was earl grey which I thought was a no brainer but it was steeped too hot for too long (essentially it was burned). Had to pay for the re-steep with adjusted temp and time which lowered the tannins and greatly improved flavor.
Always love it! I feel like I am having a tea party with my friends. The food was delicious. The staff were so informative concerning teas. I really enjoyed the experience.
The food was great and service was friendly. I loved the atmosphere. Wish I would have known about it sooner. Needs to be more publicized. Loved the variety of teas. Will definitely be back.
Definitely the British way of having a cup of tea. It’s a neat and unique little place. Reminds me when I was a kid when my mom would add milk to the tea and that’s how I grew up with. Lots of great merchandise that represent the UK and what’s more when the owner himself is British. Spend an afternoon here and you’ll understand what I’m talking about.
Fun place to stop in at for afternoon tea - which as a Brit, I've got to have! Discovered them by accident a few months back and now drop in whenever I'm in the area. Friendly staff and good selection of tea, scones and cake! They also have some interesting British kitchen accessories/tools.
